Summary:
Nour El Kadri is a professor at the Telfer School of Management and the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Ottawa. He teaches in the graduate programs of E-Business, MBA, Executive MBA, Engineering Management and Computer Science. His background is in Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence and E-Business Technologies. Nour has extensive experience in the industry having worked for both the public and private sectors and for small and medium enterprises as well as multinationals. Nour has managed many government online projects for various Government of Canada departments and worked in engineering, management and executive roles for NewBridge Networks, Alcatel, Trialstat Corporation, SUKAD, the Liberal Party of Canada, The National Democratic Institute of Washington D. C., Université du Québec, Loughborough University, Glasgow Caledonian University and the University of Ottawa.
Nour has more than 20 years of experience that spanned Academia, Research, Management and Technical roles in various industries. He is one of the experts on call at the University of Ottawa on matters of Business, Technology, politics, Economy and labour relations and has had hundreds of appearances on local and international media outlets. He is published in refereed conferences and journals and has managed patent portfolios and filed for patents. Nour sits on the board of directors of two Canadian start-up companies, one in Digital Marketing and another in Medical Devices.
