Dr. Sara Makhkhoul
Dr. Sarah Makhoul is an Associate Professor of Finance at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at the Lebanese University in Lebanon. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Sciences from the Lebanese University. Currently, she serves as the Financial Manager for the GIL Program (Generation of Innovation Leaders), powered by UNICEF, and implemented at the Lebanese University. In addition to her professional duties, Dr. Makhoul actively volunteers at Centre MINE (Center for Careers, Innovation and Entrepreneurship) and MILES (Momentum Incubator for Lebanese Startups), both based at the Lebanese University. She also coordinates the Management Work Package in WE4LEAD Erasmus+ project (Women’s Empowerment for Leadership and Equity in Higher Education Institutions).
Relevant Experience:
Project Officer- We4Lead, A project aimed at enhancing gender equality in higher education, funded by the European Commission, and led by Aix-Marseille University (AMU), France, and the Lebanese University (LU), Lebanon, in collaboration with 9 universities from Europe, North Africa, and the Mediterranean.
